I think "heavy inspiration" is a bit of a reach. Just because both wear a white, flowy dress doesn't mean that they are inspired in one another. Princess Serenity's dress looks extremely different, even the way it flows in the anime gives off a different feeling from Madokami's, as if they were made of different materials. White has always been a symbol of the divine, of purity and innocence, of the untouched in history. Wedding dresses are the prime example of this.

(Spoilers for the nr 1 pick) I remember checking back up on the RWBY soundtrack when the vol 9 songs were released. I just picked a random song to see how everything sounded with Ok Goodnight at the reins, I landed on Chatterbox. Even I, who was completely disconnected from the story and had no idea who or what the song was about, could see that it was the best thing this show has ever produced.

RWBY is Trash. There was no good characters. The character development was non existent. The world building was a complete mess. It was never a good show.

I think she should have more hollowed out cheekbones. She can have less wrinkles considering she comes from money and you could assume Jacque makes her at least keep up appearances. But for a semi-functional alcoholic who has three older children, she looks too young. Allow her to have some wrinkles and not look like the a third Shnee sister

A lot of the points you mentioned made a lot of sense like how we could've seen Azula's dynamic with Ty Lee and Mai more but I think if Zuko chose to leave the Fire Nation that early, it would really downplay his goal of wanting to go back to the fire nation. He spent two seasons trying to get back to the Fire Nation and that was his ultimate goal, so for him to finally get it and realize that it's not what he wanted in five episodes would minimize his effort and the weight his choices had. Honestly, I think if the creators had more time, they probably would've added more episodes to book three. This is just speculation but I feel like TV show runnings and contracts probably weren't as lenient as they might be now, especially for Nickelodeon. I'm sure they were told they'd be given x amount of episodes so they had to fit in what they could but if given the opportunity, I'm sure they would have expanded on many of the points you mentioned.

TBF to Willow, it's likely a mix of the butlers and maids plus some muscle memory keeping herself remotely presentable, and well, she HAS been keeping tabs on Jacques for an unknown amount of time, so its possible she cleaned up even slightly

I hate how, in the show, she's just the poor wife whose husband is the worst man in the earth. I really would had love if they had followed the same lead as the comics (Where she is both, an abuser and an abused). I just think it's more interesting when both parents have responsability over their dysfunctional family.

Yeah, there's nothing technically wrong with it, it just kinda feels like their first and only idea. It's almost generic enough to be mistaken for a uniform. And I'm tired of moms in RWBY just being their daughters with a couple "wrinkles" or slightly longer faces.
